About Us

Berry Law Firm is solely owned by Franklin Berry. He and his staff provide professional legal services in an efficient and caring manner. His expert advice is based on many years of study and experience.

Attorney

Franklin Berry established the Berry Law Firm as a business practice that offers sound legal counsel in estate planning, business and estate tax planning, personal wealth transfer, and probate.  He is south-central Kentucky’s only Fellow of both The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the American College of Tax Counsel.  Mr. Berry has also been named a Kentucky Super Lawyer in Estate Planning every year since the award's inception in 2007.  He is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, and the District of Columbia as well as the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In addition to his legal affiliations, Franklin Berry is also a teaching elder of The Presbyterian Church and a former President and current member of the A.M. Rotary Club of Bowling Green. He and his wife of 37 years live on his family’s farm where he enjoys early mornings feeding and caring for his herd of Shetland ponies and his many peafowls and Saturdays on his tractor mowing fields and enjoying the beauty of Kentucky’s rural landscape.

Clients

Our clientele encompasses individuals, estates, small businesses, and non-profit corporations. We serve numerous and varied clients in tax, estate planning, and general business matters.

Philosophy

Our business philosophy is to provide prompt and excellent service and advice to our clients. We handle small matters with the same diligence devoted to large and complex ones. Our goal is to meet our clients’ needs and maintain harmony in the client’s family or business. Unlike most firms, we do not litigate. Our only interaction with the court system is in the process of probating an estate and occasionally serving as an expert witness in a tax-related matter.

Fees

Depending on the type of work to be done, we offer flat fee, billing within a range, or hourly billing. When billing time we do so in increments of a quarter hour. We provide a monthly bill for work performed during the prior month and expect payment at that time, unless other arrangements have been previously made.
